This company has some of the most brilliant genetic engineering scientists in the world working on creating transgenic silkworms that produce spider silk. The number of staff in the lab who are working on microinjections has recently been significantly increased and they have also modified the technique. What has resulted is a sharp increase in the number of microinjections taking place. In our opinion, we are likely to see a significant development over the near-term.
This is revolutionary technology that’s being created. The market for commercial spider silk could be worth billions of dollars and it is KBLB that is most likely to bring it to market. While the scientists will become famous for their accomplishments, it is the shareholders of KBLB, that will likely be the biggest winners. Should this company accomplish its goal, we believe the shares are worth well more than $4.00.
